Our history
Greenwood Asher & Associates (GA&A) is a full-service search firm specializing in filling leadership roles at higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, and other education organizations.
Founded in 2004 by Jan Greenwood and Betty Asher, former university presidents and lifelong educators, Greenwood Asher & Associates elevates transformational leaders seeking to make a positive impact on education. Building upon our founding approach and values, we work collaboratively with clients to identify talented leaders who reflect the myriad experiences, perspectives, and skills needed to meet the unique challenges of our times.
GA&A’s skilled professionals—most with personal experience leading educational institutions—bring an uncommon ability to meet each institution’s unique context in ways that exceed expectations. As a result, GA&A has a notable repeat client rate of 97 precent – a testament to our expertise, strong relationships, and exceptional outcomes.
In 2020, GA&A joined forces with Kelly Education®. We now leverage the strength of our parent company to offer search services, coaching, and consulting partnerships throughout the continuum of education.
