Florida Gulf Coast University’s (FGCU) Marieb College of Health and Human Services (MCHHS) invites nominations, inquiries, and applications in search of an Assistant Professor. Due to planned program growth in FGCU’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) major, the School of Nursing seeks an experienced and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join the DNP Nurse Practitioner faculty team. This faculty member will hold the rank of Assistant Professor. The level of appointment will be based on qualifications and experience. This full-time position is a 12-month, on-campus continuing appointment reporting to the Director of the School of Nursing.
The Doctor Nurse Practice (DNP) curriculum emphasizes innovative and evidence-based nursing practice to meet the demands of an increasingly complex health care system, improve the safety and quality of care delivery, and influence health care policy. DNP Nurse Practitioner faculty are committed to the education of future NPs who are competent and well qualified to deliver safe and high-quality care.
