Jeanie Andrews brings exceptional experience to executive search having served on “both sides of the executive search fence” as a senior executive search consultant for G/A&A and in her roles supporting successful execution of searches at Penn State University. Andrews’ unique understanding of higher education and her well-developed networks translate into insightful support and service to clients as well as development of high quality, diverse candidate pools. Andrews has had 30 years of experience working in higher education in varied roles with progressively more responsibility at Penn State University, including most recently as Executive Director of Operations and Administration in The Graduate School. During her career at Penn State, her roles allowed her to develop expertise in labor relations, academic human resources, executive searches, board governance, and executive and administrative operations. From 2007-2013, while in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, she focused on human resources matters related to academic affairs, including providing institutional oversight of the promotion and tenure process as well as administrative leadership for all executive searches for positions reporting directly to the president or provost. In 2013, she assumed the position of director of the Office of the Board of Trustees, ensuring short- and long-term governance planning were in alignment with Board and leadership expectations. During this time, she also provided administrative oversight and support for the search that culminated in the naming of Penn State’s 18th president. Andrews received a B.S. in business administration, with an emphasis on human resources and industrial psychology, from Penn State University.
