Kurt Keppler brings over 35 years of educational expertise to his work as an executive search consultant, search manager and business development specialist for G/A&A. Most recently, Dr. Keppler served Louisiana State University in a variety of administrative roles including vice president for student life & enrollment services, vice president for student affairs and special assistant to the president. Prior to that, he served as vice president for student affairs at Valdosta State University and associate vice president & dean of students at Georgia State University. Keppler also held various positions with progressive responsibilities at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University Missouri-Columbia. He has held several leadership positions with NASPA/Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, including, president, conference chair, foundation board member, and institute chair. Keppler is a recipient of NASPA's Fred Turner Award, the association's highest recognition for service to the profession. Keppler was also named a Pillar of the Profession. He has presented over 100 workshops, seminars and conference sessions at state, regional and national conferences in the last 15 years. Dr. Keppler received a Ph.D. in higher and adult education administration and educational and counseling psychology, an M.S. in public and community services from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a B.S. in recreation and park administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
