The Opportunity
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) at Auburn University is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Assistant Director for 4-H Youth Development. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Alabama’s 4-H programs, guiding the strategic development of programs that impact thousands of young people across the state. The Assistant Director will ensure that Alabama 4-H continues to provide impactful, inclusive, and innovative educational experiences.
In close partnership with Auburn University’s academic leadership and local, regional, and national 4-H organizations, the Assistant Director will develop initiatives that integrate research-based solutions into
practical applications for youth. The goal is to equip young people with the life skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities they need to succeed in an increasingly complex world.
